		<description>While you are absolutely correct about emotional triggers being a key component in (influencing) people&#039;s behavior, most people don&#039;t like to be &quot;manipulated&quot; - even for their own good. While the word does imply something done (with skill) by hand, &quot;manually&quot;, it also is listed in the dictionary as &quot;influencing with the intent to deceive&quot; - which is NOT how most people like to be &quot;handled&quot;.  I&#039;m of the opinion that it&#039;s often best to let people know what you intend to do (to and for them) up front  - as a hypnotist does. The techniques and triggers work just as well - if not better - when you have conscious consent (to access their emotions).

The best  &quot;copy&quot; speaks mostly to the subconscious mind in ways that a person willingly welcomes - even when they are aware of it.

		<description>Great post Mark!  I agree, copywriting is probably the most important skills you can learn.  Good copy is incredibly influential.  Just ask the President of any country.  The words that come out of their mouths that bring entire nations to war are not even their words They are the words of a copywriter.</description>
