What The Social Media Gurus Will Not Admit About *Their* Twitter-Habits

I always think it’s…”interesting”….when I listen to the self-acclaimed Gurus on social media, when asked whether they believe in automation or not. NOT THEM! After all, they will let us know, we are not robots but “humans”, and using software to automate the process….wouldn’t that be down-right anti-social? Never would they do such a thing. Hah! Liars! All of them!
Actually….not all of them. However, I am probably not wronging too many of them if I speculate that at least at the beginning (you know, after they got their first twitter-account), they put their tweets on auto-pilot. And some of the heavy-hitters still do. There are some excellent reasons for that, as we shall see.
Especially, since a tweet has such a short shelf-life.
An entirely different question is: should I use software like Hummingbird to add followers to my twitter-account?
Let me first of all admit to using it myself. And let me add, that you have to be careful not to get your
account shut down, as that might happen if you go crazy with it. Also, don’t be one of those people who are basically falsifying their authority (”fluffing themselves up”). You qualify for that group if you collect a lot of followers but have nothing to add to the community. Other than that, I can’t see anything wrong with friendadder-software “per se”.
But what’s your opinion?
