Branding Secrets Day 2 – Stop Being A Knucklehead

Personal Branding is “the name of the game”. You HAVE TO build a brand around you and your name, because the products you market, the company you represent, may change. You will never change.
So where are we conducting business, most of all? Facebook and twitter. For the moment.
But what if everybody hates you? What if you don’t have the necessary “etiquette” to survive in the market-place? This is where – seriously – way more than 99% of all self-proclaimed online-marketers go sideways, and I mean: they are conducting themselves like complete knuckle-heads. This stuff is SIMPLE. To watch the market-place, though, is sometimes scary, to say the very least. Are you a link-spammer? Do you honestly think that’s what marketing is about?
The second issue we have to tackle, is how do you actually create customers for life? Please watch the following video and get ready for a serious paradigm-shift. Before you watch the video, though (and this is key), I want you to answer the following question and post your answer below. The question is: how and when do we “sell” on social media platforms?
Someone asked me this the other day: If I really have to WAIT for people to check me out, how will I ever make money?
Answer: It is true, that not everyone will check out out only because you post a video or update your status. Let’s say only 10 percent of your facebook-friends will. So this is crucial to understand: You need some consistency. Post often, and like so, more and more people will check you out. As you grow your friends on facebook and twitter, this will amount to sheer enormous amounts of people. Compare this to your alternative, which is ticking of 100% of the people you know right out the gate. What makes more sense? Don’t be desperate. Sucess will come to you if you do it the right way.
